I expect to learn about distance learning opportunities that can be easily integrated into different subject areas in my district.
I'm hoping to become aware of some of the options for using this technology in my fifth grade classroom. The ability to expose students from a rural area to a wide variety of experiences is an important part of the educational process. Barb GST

I am really hoping to gain a working knowledge of the equipment and potential collaborations that would allow me to use videoconferencing in my classroom.
I have tried some video field trips in the past. They have worked, however I still do not have the confidence level that I would like to comfortably implement this technology.

At E2 I am a staff development specialist. I have used DL with teachers at all of our districts so they don't have to travel as far. I would like to continue to develop ideas to bring information to the teachers in the 27 districts we service.

Good morning. My goal for the next two days is to gain a working knowledge of distance learning (DL) opportunities from start to end. I have participated in DL programs before, but never from as a teacher. Also, I would be very interested in programs for primary grades.
Have fun!
